How to get to the Convento São Francisco

The avenue is served by three city bus lines: 6 (which connects the Hospital dos Covões and the Hospital da Universidade de Coimbra), 13 (connecting the river bank and the nearby village of Valongo) and 31 (connecting the Arnado building to the village of Morouços). In Coimbra, there are two train stations (www.cp.pt): Coimbra-A (downtown, connected to Coimbra-B) and Coimbra-B (further away from the city centre).

From Coimbra-A Train station (downtown)

Take Av. Emídio Navarro towards Portagem. Cross the "Santa Clara" Bridge and continue on Av. João das Regras. At its limit, in front of you, you will find the Convento São Francisco.

From Coimbra-B Train station

Take bus line 31 from Av. Fernão de Magalhães to "Portugal Pequenitos".

From the city centre (Praça da República)

Take bus line 6 from Av. Sá da Bandeira to Portugal Pequenitos.
